Imagine yourself waking to the sound of gentle waves sparkling under the morning sun. With the refreshing sea breeze, the smell of breakfast lures you to my blue table, where equally blue rice paired with a variety of neighborhood-sourced dishes await to warm your belly.

As the local fisherfolk sail for their daily catch (or dance in the sand to harvest Tagitis, you set off on a blue bike around town, maybe visit the market for the freshest greens or our tiangge for the best bargains. Perhaps you take a break from the sea to go tubing in the unbelievably clear Malumpati spring, or dig your feet into the colorful pebbles in our Malo river.

After lunch you chill under the coconut trees lining the tiny abode, where an afternoon siesta is all but impossible to resist. Without realizing, it’s almost evening, just in time to move over to the sunset deck. With my homemade cocktail in hand, you sit back and enjoy the tantalizing sunset that paints the town a deep orange, marking the end of another peaceful day in rustic Baybay, Pandan, Antique.
